RE: Internet Browser ?
Here, don't say I've never done anything for you, as this wasn't the easiest of things to find!

RE: Internet Browser ?
I have used:
Internet Explorer 6: Horrible, horrible, horrible... This is why people should be made to take internet training lessons, and why there should be a set in stone markup rather than W3C's official standard and Microsoft's awful crap. Internet Explorer 7: Better, but still awful... Also, the interface was designed by inbred morons. Firefox: I've used it since it was Firebird and it's served me well up till now. I'm still using the testing versions and the only real issues I've ever had were some memory issues that seem to have been fixed. Opera: Opera is getting better with age, but some of it's features are more annoying than useful. If I want desktop widgets, I'll use gadgets under Vista or one of the many Linux widget engines... It looks pretty, especially compared to Explorer. Safari: Feels like Firefox, but based on code forked from KDE's KHTML renderer. Decent enough, but nothing out of the ordinary unless you're a web standards fetishist. Konquerer: Basically, the Linux version of Safari... Only Konquerer came out first as Safari is forked from it. Epiphany: Stripped down, tuned up Firefox. Google Chrome: Nice looking, but buggy and lacking plug-in's I'd want such as a decent copy of Firefox' Web Developer and XHTML Validator. I use a laptop which isn't the most powerful on the market (Samsung R700 1.66 Core 2 Duo, 2GiB DDR2 RAM) and I ended up using a 3rd party hack to get scrolling to work correctly. If KDE and Safari can get scrolling to work on my laptop, I don't see why Google can't... Google has more funding than KDE and more web oriented developers than Apple after all. I only have Chrome, Safari and Opera because it's good practice to test code in multiple browsers (assuming it's web stuff and not desktop app programming). Samsung R700 17" laptop Xbox 360 Premium: I am not listing all these games. PS3 80GiB: Uncharted, Resistance 2, Ratchet & Clank, Valkaria Chronicles, Little Big Planet, Mercenaries 2, Far Cry 2, Mirrors Edge, Dead Space Blu-Ray: Iron-Man T.V. (my room): 32" Samsung S4 LCD HDTV. |

RE: Internet Browser ?
Firefox is my current firsst choice but that's only until either Opera changes their plug in system or when Chrome changes their design a bit as its just confusing at times.

IE: Spawn of Satan
Chrome: Ok, but just... not Opera: Eh... Fx: I use exclusively, I don't know what I would do without Adblock Plus Safari: It's ok. |
